Whether you’re looking to naturalize your shoreline, reduce the area of your lawn, create a new garden, cover your septic area with plants, or improve the health of your forest, we have you covered! With over 25 completed designs in central and southern Ontario, we have the experience and expertise to bring your project to life.

Site Visit

Our process begins with a site visit to tour your property to get a sense of the space and how you currently use it. We will discuss your naturalization goals, the ecological problems you’d like to solve, and we’ll share our ideas. We’ll also highlight the natural features, native plants, and any invasive plants already on your property.

Conceptual Design

We’ll create a conceptual design outlining planting zones and plant combinations, species list and plant palette. Each species is thoughtfully selected to ensure it’ll thrive in your environment, be aesethically pleasing, and relate well to other plants in the design. The exact location of each plant will not be detailed on the plan as much of the design process happens on-site in real time. This allows you or the installer (which can be us!) to live in the creative moment; laying out the plants in a pattern that compliments your home and natural surroundings.

We provide one complimentary edit to the plan. Further edits are billed at an hourly rate of $52/hr.

Installation & Maintenance

The installation process includes any required site preparation (ie. small-scale sod-removal, mulching, garden bed shaping, etc.) See FAQ section for our scope of site preparation service. Depending on the project, site preparation may start well-before we’re ready to install the plants.

After we finish planting- we’ll maintain your planting for 1 year!* Maintenance is critical during the establishment phase of the project-let us take the pressure and guesswork off of you. We will weed, deadhead, prune etc. your naturescape, ensuring that the design stays legible over time.

As part of our commitment to your success, we’ll provide you with a care and management plan as well as a plant information and identification guide; both tailored to your project after the 1 year maintenance period. Alternatively, clients can sign on for another year of maintenance.

Project cost estimate can be provided after the site visit once we see the scope of the project.

*Watering not included but we will provide guidance. Maintenance plan and schedule will be presented to you after design is finalized.
